Name: Zawadi Yangu Initiative” is a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), The Organization’s activities are carried out in Tanzania.
Registration: The Organization has been registered under the Non-Governmental Organization Act No.24, 2002.
The Zawadi Yangu Initiative was officially inaugurated in 2016.
Head Office: The head office of the organization is allocated at Southern Mecco Block No 423 FF - Nyakato Mwanza,
Tanzania nearby Mecco Commuter bus Stand.
Our core objectives are:
- To enhance women economy especially single mothers and widows to become self-reliant and provide for their children.
- To raise awareness in the community and in schools on violence against children.
- To advocate for laws, policies, and practice changes to reduces violence against children and women
- To facilitate establishment of adequate rehabilitation centres for rescue services, psychological and counselling services to the victim of child and women abuse.
- Promote children well-being through outreach program on issues concerning early childhood development, children’s rights, child protection and children in decision making.
- This means, we as the Association are here to help the community in solving different challenges facing women and children by empowering them through capacity building and creating awareness in Tanzania.
